Background

Many organizations leverage Information and Communication Technology (ICT), to deliver superior value to customers. However, operations are also prone to disruptions due to system discontinuity arising from unforeseen disasters and various forms of vulnerabilities. This workshop is designed to enable participants acquire the requisite skills for safeguarding business information assets and ensuring business continuity, through contingency planning and disaster recovery strategies.

Target Participants

Heads of Operations, Risk Management, Internal Control, Information System Auditors and Information Technology Departments, as well as those being groomed for such roles in the near term and those supervising these roles.

Objectives

At the end of the course, participants should be able to effectively:

  • Identify the risks associated with the deployment of ICT
  • Demonstrate clarity on protection and safeguarding of ICT assets against disasters
  • Develop contingency plans for quick recovery from disasters
  • Formulate and write an Audit report for DCP
  • Execute exercises and evaluations in improving a contingency plan

Payment of Fees

Fees paid for participants who do not turn up eventually would be refunded, subject to deduction of 25% administrative cost.
