Agriculture
In this category, participants are encouraged to tackle various aspects of agriculture, from production and distribution to resource management and food security.
Renewable Energy
This category focuses on advancing technology solutions that harness energy from natural sources, reduce reliance on fossil fuels, and mitigate its environmental impact.


Transportation
This category focuses on revolutionizing the way people and goods are transported while minimizing environmental impact and promoting sustainability
Health
This category focuses on innovations that improve healthcare access, quality, and outcomes, while also considering the broader impact on the environment and sustainability.

- Free FITC School of Cybersecurity attendance for the winners worth N150,000/ person.

This techathon is designed for experienced developers and idea generators across the continent. Read below for more information on required skill set.

REGISTRATION
Visit the techathon website and register for the competition. There is an opportunity to register either as an individual or as a team.
ONLINE WEBINARS
Attend Online webinars to ask questions and connect with other participants before the actual hackathon.
FORMATION OF GROUPS
Join the online engagement platform to form a team if you do not have a team and submit your idea before the deadline
IDEA SUBMISSION
Select your area of interest, develop an idea or solution, and send in a brief description of the idea and answer other questions.
RECEIVE EMAIL NOTIFICATION
Shortlisted Teams will be selected to participate in the virtual hackathon.
DEMO DAY
Shortlisted teams will be selected to participate during the physical Demo Day.
