The i-EARTH Challenge is a hackathon focused on critical innovative solutions in the areas of environment, agriculture, renewable energy, transportation, and health.

The techathon is open to undergraduates and young adults who are interested in developing innovative solutions in the areas of environment, agriculture, renewable energy, transportation, and health.

The techathon will take place online from July 18th to 19th, 2024. The demo and award day is on July 26th, 2024 

The techathon will be a virtual event.

The goals of the techathon are to encourage innovation, promote collaboration, develop sustainable solutions, encourage entrepreneurship, support social inclusivity, promote open source, provide mentorship and learning opportunities, and celebrate creativity and impact.

Applications will be open from September 12th, 2023 to June 28th, 2024. 

No, participation in the techathon is free.

2- 4 people are ideal for a team. Make sure you all have complementary skillsets.

If you are selected to participate in the techathon, you will receive further instructions and information about the event.

Participants will have access to subject-matter experts, business mentors, and training workshops to develop their skills and knowledge in the relevant fields.

Yes, the techathon will celebrate creativity and the impact of the solutions developed by participants by providing awards, recognition, and opportunities to showcase their work to a broader audience.  Check out Prizes for finalists here.
